Carlton have axed five players following their disappointing end to the season last week.
The Blues were trounced by Brisbane in an elimination final on Saturday and have wasted no time in making changes to their list.
Experienced trio Jack Martin, David Cuningham and Caleb Marchbank have all been delisted, along with Alex Mirkov and Dom Akuei.

Martin is keen to continue his career at a third club with Fremantle among the interested parties, according to 7NEWS Perth reporter Ryan Daniels.
He is now free to join any club of his choice as a delisted free agent.
The gifted 29-year-old has struggled with injuries throughout his career, playing just 54 games in five seasons at the Blues.
That came after 97 games with Gold Coast when he was initially taken with the first pick in the 2012 mini-draft.
Marchbank was another player to struggle with injuries, with the former Giant playing just 56 senior games across eight seasons at Carlton.
Small forward Cuningham also had his injury issues, but still featured in 58 games in his nine seasons at the club.
Mirkov and Akuei never played a senior game.
“David and Caleb have persevered through adversity throughout their extended careers at Carlton. Their resolve to continue to front up and give themselves every chance to overcome each challenge is a testament to them and will hold them in good stead with whatever the step is that they choose to take,” Carlton list manager Nick Austin said.
“Jack also showed a resilient mindset through his five seasons and has made some lasting friendships at the football club, while Alex and Dom brought great energy around the club over their time with us, each earning their opportunity to be part of an AFL program via unique pathways.
“We thank all five players for their commitment during their time in Navy Blue.”
Meanwhile, the club have confirmed superstar forward Charlie Curnow will undergo ankle surgery.
Curnow missed the final two games of the season, plus the elimination final with the injury.
He is expected to return to pre-season training in December.
It caps a nightmare end to the season for the Blues, who were once considered one of the premiership favourites.
Sitting pretty in second place with six rounds remaining, Carlton capitulated to limp into the finals on the back of an extensive injury list.
Their season came to a crashing end last week when they were outclassed by Brisbane.
